Audiovisual from Spain and Iberseries & Platino Industria will participate together for the first time at Berlinale Series Market, presenting exclusive Spanish-language content for international promotion. The initiative, organized by the European Film Market, Berlinale Coproduction Market, and Berlinale Talents, will take place from February 20th to 22nd, 2023, and will host global serial content industry professionals for acquisition, pre-sale, and co-production. In conjunction with ICEX Spain Export and Investment, Iberseries & Platino Industria will hold several activities, including screenings, a showcase, and a New Releases & Financial Opportunities panel. In the panel, Álex de la Iglesia, Carolina Bang, Mike Hostench, Gustavo Ferrada, Winnie Baert, and Mónica Carretero will participate. Audiovisual from Spain e Iberseries & Platino Industria will also present their program, «Next from Spain,» featuring previews of upcoming Spanish-language original content, including «Vestidas de azul,» «Rapa T2,» «Pollos sin cabeza,» and «Esto no es Suecia.» The sessions will provide an opportunity to meet with creative and executive talents participating in the productions.
