TUI and Plus Ultra Airlines have launched a joint campaign to promote Cartagena de Indias, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Colombia. The travel agency has prepared three special offers for the destination, including accommodation in the colonial city, a combined tour with a visit to Santa Marta, and access to beaches such as Isla del Rosario or Barú. TUI has over 500 places with guaranteed departures from June to September in this region. The two companies will collaborate on several online training initiatives aimed at travel agents, as well as social media and other digital media campaigns. There will be a sales competition for travel agents who can win a gift card worth €400 by selling the most tickets for TUI and Plus Ultra’s programs. Cartagena de Indias, with its colonial history, strategic location in the Caribbean, and picturesque fortifications, is a popular destination for international travellers.
