Adecco, a leading Human Resources company, has signed a collaboration agreement with Belgian company Novellas Healthcare to develop synergies in Patient Experience Programs (PXP) in Spain. These programs provide help and support to patients to promote and improve their health and/or quality of life related to a treatment. The aim of this collaboration between Adecco and Novellas is to take Patient Experience Programs to the next level in Spain, putting the patient at the center and offering totally customized solutions in patient care for the compliance of medical treatment.
Patient Experience Programs aim to go beyond the follow-up of a specific medication, seeking to create an ecosystem among healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, etc.) where the patient is in the center, ensuring a unique experience. The benefits of Patient Experience Programs are to improve patient outcomes and experience with treatment by providing tools and support to manage their health and well-being, improving therapeutic compliance (not only through reminders, but also education, the perfect combination of healthcare professionals through digital and physical contact points), reducing annual medical care costs, and providing patients with education and training on the proper use of treatment and information about their illness.
Each Patient Experience Program is unique, and each project is tailor-made based on therapeutic characteristics, thanks to expert professionals with a great vocation for service. There is optimal coordination between physical and digital support, with the latest technological trends and patient-centered actions, for greater personalization, creating a unique flow of patients.
These programs are promoted by the pharmaceutical industry to facilitate adherence by their patients to treatments, improving their quality of life.
