Milagros Tolón, the mayor of Toledo and candidate for re-election, held a meeting on Friday with the president of the Toledo Business Federation (Fedeto), Javier de Antonio, and members of its board of directors, to discuss her main proposals for Economic Promotion if she is re-elected. Tolón announced after the meeting her commitment to «streamline all administrative management» in the processing of licenses and permits and to create an Office for the Attraction of Investments, Companies, and Congresses that generates business opportunities for self-employed individuals, SMEs, and companies, as well as quality employment. The future of the city relies on the development of the Municipal Plan, along with the infrastructure that will be carried out to improve communications. Tolón proposed the creation of the Toledo Sports Palace connected to the New Palomarejos project, as well as plans to expand and improve sports facilities in neighborhoods throughout the city, among other proposals.
