Inmaculada Jiménez, the candidate for PSOE’s reelection as Mayor of Tomelloso (Spain), has proposed launching a Strategic Plan for Social Services and a new Sports Technification Centre that will act as a regional reference. She hopes to implement these and other initiatives, such as building a new municipal library, creating a fairground pavilion for events, constructing new green areas and parks, and collaborating with the regional government to develop a technological metal centre. She also envisions establishing a Business Accelerator to consolidate successful projects in the city.
Jiménez desires to win with a clear majority and, therefore, does not plan to make any coalition with opposition parties. She asserts that the PP opposition party has shown minimal negotiation skills, proposals and work in favour of Tomelloso during her term. As such, the Mayor sees political stability in the City Hall is necessary to continue to transform Tomelloso.
