CCOO, the Spanish Workers’ Union, has called on workers in Castilla-La Mancha to «fill the progressive ballot boxes» on May 28th, the day of municipal and regional elections. CCOO’s regional secretary, Paco de la Rosa, and Raquel Payo, the union’s regional secretary for Social Dialogue, Institutional Affairs and Occupational Health, spoke at the presentation of the document «CCOO Castilla-La Mancha before the 2023 regional elections.» De la Rosa pointed out that progress can only be achieved by believing that it is not the market that guarantees the quality of life in the communities and the State. He said that «governments must be progressive as has been demonstrated in recent years in this region and in the country.» CCOO has presented a series of proposals to all democratic parties to incorporate its social and economic model for the next four years. However, De la Rosa made it clear that Vox would not receive the document and that they would only hand it to all other democratic parties.
